Jupiter 8SA Alnico

You never know what you are going to get when you mod amps. But one of the most gratifying is replacing a speaker.
Extremely happy with the 8SA. Fantastic speaker!

Big Sound!

I bought the 8SA-2 to go in a 1959 Epiphone Pacemaker, which is the same amp as a 1959 Gibson GA-5. It sounds fantastic! I don't really care for 8" speakers because
they always sound like... 8" speakers. But this sounds much fuller, like a good 10". It handles the break up without having that little fizz that I always hear in 8" speakers.
Jupiter has got a good thing going here!

Jupiter 8SA is an 8" seamed cone speaker with a Small Alnico Magnet, an upgrade replacement for Jensen P8R.  The 8SA provides excellent tone and alnico chime in the Fender Champ and Gibson GA-5.
