Until the speaker is fully broken-in, no review of sound can possibly be reliable. It's a new speaker being mounted into a vintage amp. Sounds great now, anyway. Wha Great!t I can comment on is the meticulous build, which is genuinely impressive. I've bought innumerable speakers of all kinds, and this is one of few that just looks flawless and impressively assembled. It's also gorgeous -- the paint job is as good as any fine pedal, the graphics are not cheesy as is commonplace on small speakers, and the strong frame and superior parts are obvious everywhere.

I usually like alnico speakers in a silverface Champ but this one is the best ever!

The Jupiter 8sc is well made. It's a clear and balanced speaker with lots of American character. Sounds awesome in my 79 silverface champ!

2 of these went into a traynor ygm4 in an x pattern with two jensen ri 8’s. the jupiters provide more richness and gutsy goodies, complimenting the jensen’s somewhat thinner glassier tones. nice combo. i now have jupiter 8, 10 and 12 speakers, all very very fine. special shout for the 12la. exceptional!
