I just fitted it into my REV '65 Princeton Rev Tweed - the one with the woolly sounding 12" Cannabis Rex speaker. I used a 12" - 10' re-baffler and it all worked out very well. It now sounds like how a vintage Princeton should and is perfect for the studio.
I installed one of these in a 5 watt Airline 9035a amp a while back. I loved it! So when I purchased a '66 Kalamazoo Model Two recently (which my tech rated at 3 watts with a single EL84), I installed one in it also. It's a great alnico speaker at a great price!
It’s the real deal. Well worth it. Improved my Vibro Champ immensely. Get the break in. Well worth it.
I bought this speaker for my 57 Champ project that I did with Two-Tone amplifier, we built a high end replica using NOS parts and a tweed Cabinet. We used the Jupiter speaker and the sound was huge, I couldn’t believe I was playing in a 5watt amp. The bottom end is all there it’s not floppy like other speakers. The highs are so sweat , the range and detail is all there.
I will put a link of the video we made for this amp you can hear it there.
