Being installed in a 1970’’s Fender Tube Amp. So far this is an excellent speaker choice. Highly recommended . Speaker looks very well constructed and shipping was fast and properly packaged.
Been wanting to try a more American style speaker in my Swart Antares. The amp came with a Celestion Creamback 75 (ceramic)…a fine speaker, but a little dark for my taste. The Jupiter Alnico had the same db rating, 100db, as the Celestion….hard to find in an American style Alnico. The Jupiter sounds FANTASTIC right out of the box….the low end never feels lacking while also not being overbearing-as the Celestion could be- the high end sounds crisp and clear with out any piercing shrillness-unlike the Celestion, which had a dull high end. It did bring up the noise floor a bit as the high end clarity allows the natural amp hiss to be heard a bit more…however that’s alone at home not with the band. Sounds great clean or driven…I couldn’t recommend it more. Can’t wait to see how it sounds after more time, because it should only get better. Even the amps reverbs brightened up and sounds better. I play daily, everything from pedal driven ambient to fuzzed out rock….plenty of cowboy chords as well….just a brilliant speaker.
Beautiful sounding and looking!
This is the 4th speaker in my Princeton. It reproduces that classic Fender chime very well with more robust low end performance than a couple of the other speakers I had in the amp. Does not "fart out" when pushed.
Great speaker! Totally in love. Perfect for my Milkman Pedal Steel Mini

12" seamed cone with large alnico motor, upgrade replacement for Jensen P12N.
"This is the speaker that floored us and set us on the path to digging in and placing a call to Jupiter. We'll just cut to the chase and say this is the closest to a vintage Jensen of any modern speaker we have ever heard. In the Deluxe Reverb, it adds more headroom, which is absolutely magical, and lets us explore much more wonderful territory before the amp gushes like a great DR will do. There is a fullness and clarity, and the breakup is excellent. The vintage 1959 P12N has less power, and again, is smoky and woody, but doesn't have the note definition of the Jupiter. It is amazing, though. Of special note, the Princeton Reverb with the Jupiter 12 was fantastic, eye-opening, and we could gig that combo until we fly to the great gig in the sky. So good. And in the tweed Deluxe, game over." ToneQuest Report
