These ceramic speakers sound absolutely fantastic for clean and loud. You can dirty them up with pedals and you will hear exactly what is going into them. I have them in several Milkman and Fender Amps. Superb!
Installed a 12LC 50w in a Carr Rambler that had the Kingpin 60 speaker in it. Sounds beautiful, the Kingpin speaker had some brash highs going on and the 12LC fixed that and overall tone is just better, smoother top end, tighter low end, sounds like I thought the amp should. Looks great too, highly recommended.
The Jupiter replaced a dark-sounding (WGS) Amperian Revolution in my Eddie Wang Quantum Zen. Now the sound is just what I was looking for: brighter, clearer and classically American.
I put a pair of these in my Fender 1971 Twin reverb, replacing the stock worn out Utahs. These speakers stand out and give the amp a very nice clean crystal chime response which of course I wanted. Very impressed and the color and finish look great too. I’ve been playing guitar for many decades and these are my first experience with Jupiter Speakers and I’m very impressed with this USA company! Thanks, Whalen of the band WHALEN!
I put in the Jupiter 12LC 50W to replace the Eminence Custom Fender Design to try to tighten up the flub on the bottom end of a Surf Green Fender Supersonic 22 combo, and while I will probably reconfigure the amp from 6V6's to 6L6's to remedy the issue at hand with more power, I was immediately struck by the warmth and musicality of the Jupiter speaker. I've tried several speakers in this amp, most of which sounded less resonant and colder than the original Eminence (especially the various Hemp cones I tried), but this is the first time in a long time I immediately heard a much warmer, but well defined tone out of something other than the Eminence custom design. The adjective that kept coming to mind is "musicality" and I was pretty happy with that idea from the perspective of a speaker replacement.
It doesn't hurt that the Jupiter 12LC is one of the best looking speakers I have ever seen. It is a shame it is hidden away.
Thanks for the quick delivery, and for initially returning my phone call to dial in the right selection of speaker for my need.
