I bought this to replace the speaker in a 66 Princeton and it is a perfect match.

This speaker sounds great! I had been doing research and trying to find a speaker that could get me close to a Jerry Garcia tone without breaking the bank but maintaining quality. This is where I landed and I’m very happy with the results. It has a great bright high end and the mids and lows sound great as well.

Vintage sound, high end components and impeccable workmanship make this a perfect choice for your vintage or modern lower wattage tube driven tube amplifiers. I put this in my Fender Princeton 65 reissue and it has more head room and tighter bass. The treble is clear and present but never ice pick sounding. It will make your 10” sound more like a 12”.

These two speakers went into an extension cab for a 45 watt combo that already had two 10". Now with four 10" the sound is amazing! - I've also used the extension cab with another head and it is also a wonderful tone.
