Has all the right tones and overtones for that deep Fender Blackface sound. However, has very high sensitivity so may not match up with your other cabs / speakers.
So many great things about this speaker. After trying six different speakers (Weber Alnico, Weber ceramic, mojotone anthem, Jensen, Celestion), I put the Jupiter m12c in my 1951 5b3 fender deluxe amp and it’s a match made in heaven. So happy with this combination. Very musical harmonic overtones. Highly recommend.
I ordered the wrong ohm & hoped to use the paper coil speaker but sadly never heard back from the company after numerous phone calls and emails. I wish they would respond, my mistake. I guess I can just list it on Reverb while it sits in my shop. Not sure if I will order from them again.
I have a deluxe amplification Ryman. It has a Jupiter mc12. It’s an amazing sounding speaker. I have not used the one I purchased because I misdiagnosed my amp issue. But so far after 2 years of owning the amp the speaker still sounds excellent.
We are currently out of cork gaskets for all speakers. Our next shipment is expected to arrive between late May and late June. When placing your order, please indicate in the order notes whether you would like your speaker built with foam gaskets, or if you would prefer to wait for cork gaskets.
12" seamed ribbed cone with a large ceramic magnet, the replacement for C12N.
Similar to the 12LC but with less output and a more smooth sound yet balanced. A slightly smoother sound that retains headroom. Originally intended for studio or home use, many musicians claim it to be the closest to the original C12N from 4 and 5 decades ago.
